I have been playing since I was 9 or so... on and off. I started with the Huzzah Creek Band in the late 1970s, playing local establishments in the St. Louis area and beyond (Cuba, Mo).

My genre was country/country rock but then moved to a new band in '79 til '81 called the Northshore Freeway and had moderate success. We were aired on K-SHE95's S.E.E.D.S. program and were invited to compete in May Daze '81 at Six Flags. A total of 26 bands competed for a record album deal. Unfortunately, we took 3rd place, but it was a greate experience and we played there all month.

After that, we began getting offers to play at big clubs and began opening for St. Louis's own Mama's Pride at venues all over town. In 1982, the band folded and we all went our separate ways.

I started back in the 90's with my old lead guitarist, Pat Baker, playing acoustic country again. We played some original material but mostly cover tunes, calling ourselves Southern Influence. Moving on with other alumni, Larry Benoist, we called ourselves Diamonds in the Rough. We entertained primarily at the Brewhouse in Maryland Heights, as well as other venues until 2000. This brings me to the present. Taking a 13 year hiatus, I decided that since I’m not getting any younger, I would like to start playing again. As a solo artist, I plan to play cover tunes that includes rock, country, and trop rock, along with some original material. So as I reminisce in my music, just kick back in that Old Blue Chair with your Hush Puppies on and we’ll fade into the sunset. I truly hope that you enjoy my music as much as I enjoy playing for you. Adios and vaya con dios!
